It is a large restaurant, lots of color and things "going on", imaginative and different. This is good. We arrived around 6.00pm - just one other table occupied, a couple of gents. The server sat us next to them. As we walked to our table we heard whooping and shouting and laughing from somewhere in the building. Red Flag! We ordered the Vegan Tartare and the Eggplant Croquettes, appetizers and well priced at $15 and $12. The Tartare was beets, sweet potato and avocado. It should have arrived a perfect mounded circle. I know because I make these all the time at home. With the correct tool and patience it's a stunna on a plate. Mine arrived collapsed. Me: It's collapsed Server: I know I told the kitchen not to bother doing it again as we needed to get the food out. Me: I see, and by the way what is all the screaming and shrieking. Server: It's the owners, the new chef is trying out dishes for the owners and their friends Me: I see, well its annoying. You have two couples in here and we are to be subjected to this? We cant have conversation and relax. Server: They are excited and happy Me: I see, we are paying and not happy. Please see if you can do something. Server: Walks away Us: We leave Other couple: their main dish arrived, and they are sad as they are in for the long haul . Me: Come to Galicia Tapas with us. Seriously - I hope the new chef has higher standards for his tartare and a bit more consideration and professionalism for the patrons.

I stopped into Bocaditos Bistro a few weekends ago for brunch and I couldn't recommend this little treasure more. The service was warm & hospitable, and the food, eye catching and superb. The presentation was incredibly well done and the venue was decorated so colorfully. I will definitely be back! Thanks for the wonderful experience.
