Another gem! It was my first time trying crab and couldn’t have chosen a better place. Half grilled crab and crab soup - again めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです. So good! The place itself just takes you back in time as well, only 10 places, right next to the bar so you can watch your food being prepared. You could also try a local delicacy - crab sashimi, especially during crab season. Cash only! Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely delicious! This is the best crab I’ve had so far in Japan. The restaurant is wonderfully stylish with a nostalgic vibe that feels like stepping right back into the '80s. The chef is a true professional who clearly cooks with a lot of heart. My absolute favorites were the grilled crab and the crab soup rice. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Oh good lord, BON is très bon magnific. Don’t be turned off by the unassuming menu design or interior, the food, drinks and service are superb. If you’re here in crab season go for the set to see how different ways of cooking and serving change the flavor. The Crab Sashimi is a stand out, and the Tajima Beef is right along side. If you’re not into texture, I get it, but DON’T miss out on the Crab Sashimi while you’re in town. The Tajima beef is far more flavorful and slightly less fatty and, in my opinion, than Wagyu. This business only accepts cash, but does not take or require reservations like other places in town that serve Matsuba crab. Final words, if you only sit in for a small meal, pair the Crab Sashimi with the “reserve” sake, exclusive to BON, you won’t regret it. Price per person: ¥6,000–7,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
