People may have nicely cooked pies, taro and sandwiches at Boss Bakery. Do not go away without tasting good Egg tarts, fruitcake and pineapple buns. Prices are adequate for the quality you receive.

We meet again! Your taro pineapple buns are still always the best in town. I happen to get there before closing and the lady always trying to sell me the store. Egg tarts are also fire!

Worse sponge cake that we ever had. We wrote this review to save others some money. We bought 9 and threw them out after 1 bite. Also, the custard tarts tasted okay, but the bottoms were burnt. Save your money.. go elsewhere. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I was on a quest for the perfect "wife cookie" which are thin, flaky pastries with winter melon filling. I must have tried 8 bakeries in the city and found that Boss Bakery had the best. We ordered 30 for a party and they turned out perfectly. The strange thing was that when we picked up the cookies, the box had "Geneva Bakery" stamped on it. Maybe it's the same owner? Also, the salesperson did not speak English at all. However, not sure if it's a coincidence, or if someone was watching on their camera, when we were trying to order, someone who spoke English called the bakery, and she handed the phone to me and the person over the phone took my order and instructed the salesperson what to do. I'm giving 5 stars despite the language barrier, solely based on the quality of the wife cookies, and also because the bakery appears very clean and pasties are individually wrapped, which is a big plus.
