We visited during World Cup weekend, so we completely understood that the restaurant was busy and wait times would be longer than usual. The pizza itself was great, and we were excited to try the place for the first time. The staff at the walk up bar was AMAZING and so welcoming. Beer was great. Unfortunately, our experience was negatively impacted by the employee taking pizza orders. After waiting about 30 minutes for a cheese pizza, I politely asked for an update on the expected wait time for another pie since we had children with us. I wasn’t trying to rush anyone; I simply wanted to know what to expect. The response I received was dismissive and rude, essentially telling me to just place the order and it would be ready whenever it was ready. I understand how stressful and hectic customer service can be, especially during major events and peak hours. However, a poor attitude can quickly overshadow good food and a great atmosphere. Sadly, this interaction left a sour impression on what was otherwise a positive experience, and it’s the reason we likely won’t return. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Brandon! Thank you for coming out during World Cup weekend and for taking the time to write this, the good and the not so good. I'm glad that the pizza & the beer, and bar crew lived up to what we're going for when it comes to hospitality. The interaction at the pizza window is different, and you're right to let us know about it. Asking for a time estimate when you've got kids with you is totally reasonable, and the answer you got isnt acceptable or how we want anyone treated, regardless of being busy or not. That one's on us and we'll address it with the team directly. I'd really like the chance to show you a better visit next time you're in the area if you're open to it. Brainwave has the best sourdough pizza around. The crust has the right amount of crunch and chew without feeling too heavy. Everything always tastes fresh and well made. Perfect pairing with beers from Inner Voice, especially if you’re hanging out with friends or bringing the family along. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
