Walking a leg of the Leicestershire Round walk...from Newton Linford to Nailstone. Pub is about 5mins walk from the route and easy to find. Had a well earned break with soft drinks and cake. Pub looks new or has recently had a big make over. Either way it was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Served by a very friendly lady. Pub has a very nice and curious black labrador desperate for any food morsel you might pass its way. Lovely place. Price per person: £1–10
