A really lovely, simple café for a quiet coffee, a tasty lunch or an early evening apéritif. You won't feel hassled or pressurised in this café; it felt like a little haven away from the bustling streets even though it's right in the centre of Rome. Vitto the owner is very welcoming, and speaks good English. It's also very handy for Irish visitors planning to pop into the nearby church of San Silvestro in Capite. We walked by Burro e Alici and ended up going in to eat because of the aroma coming from the store. The was one of the best meals we’ve had in Rome of true, authentic Roman food. All was delicious. The service was amazing, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed. We left so full. I would make it a point to eat here!
