Here you will be able to taste good sancocho, arepa and BBQ ribs. This place is famous for great juice. Clients don't like beer at this restaurant.

I recently placed a pickup order at Casa Mateo after seeing their online menu, which clearly advertised the chicharrón for $25 I ordered the chicharrón, a side of yuca, and a soda.When I reviewed the receipt after my son picked up the order, I was surprised to see that I had been charged $30 for the chicharrón instead of the advertised $25. On top of that, an additional $1.23 fee was added to my bill.(Like they were charging me to sell me a product that I already paid for). I called the restaurant to ask about the discrepancy in pricing and the extra fee. I was told that the additional charge was “a fee that the system generates. Unfortunately, that explanation does not address the issue. When a restaurant advertises a price, customers should be charged exactly that amount unless any changes or additional fees are clearly disclosed before payment is made. Hidden or unexplained charges are not acceptable and create a lack of trust. This experience left me feeling misled and concerned about the transparency of their pricing. If a business is willing to charge more than what is advertised and add unexplained fees, customers should carefully review their receipts before leaving or paying. I sincerely hope the owner reviews these practices, ensures that menu prices match what is actually charged, and clearly discloses any additional fees going forward. Transparency and honesty are essential in any business, especially in the food industry where customers rely on advertised pricing. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise future customers to double-check their receipts carefully when ordering from Casa Mateo.

Service sucks in this place. The food is overpriced and not as good. I don't like my meat well done, I guess that's how they eat in Colombia but not here in the USA. When a costumer asks you for medium rara meat you give them what they asked for, not your overcooked meat.

There is a Venezuelan waitress that works in the Western location that thinks she owns this place. My cousin was working there but she told the owner not to call her back to work. La mesera venezolana que trabaja en la locación de la western de cree que ella es la dueña del lugar, le dijo al dueño que no llamara más a mi prima que trabajaba ahí. El dueño es otro viejo rabo verde, que no sabe tratar a las personas. Lo que hicieron es discriminación, y se salvaron de una demanda. A la mesera esa, todo en esta vida se pega y el karma se va a encargar de ti.

I don't recommend this horrible place. Today mi familia tuvo una experiencia horrible. Todos vamos a dejar reviews. No vayan a este lugar. Si quieren comida sobrecocida pues este si lugar, o si les gustan que las mesaras las vean con mala cara pues este es su lugar.

Para el dueño, señor sea más amable porque hasta las torres más grandes se viene abajo. Deje de discriminar y hacer caso a mesera que no pito pita ahí.
