Oh my god, this PLACE!!!! I’ve been DYING to go here. Admittedly, I’m not sure i’m well acquainted with Ecuadorian food so I was very intrigued by the restaurant and the menu. I will say, I was a little scared because it definitely seems like the menu caters a little more to seafood and fish and unfortunately like I’m just not a seafood or fish kind of gal. HOWEVER, the combination of flavors is just incredible!!! Truly, everything was out of this world. Again, I’m not a fish or seafood person and yet my FAVORITE dish was the ceviche. This is a goldmine for maracuya lovers. Wow. How bless and lucky I am to have two of my favorite restaurants right next to each other. Finally tried this place and it did not disappoint! The hype is real and well-deserved. The food was an absolute delight for my palate. I started with the canelazo cocktail. This version is made with vermouth and it was subtle and delicious. The ceviche salsero was lick-the-plate good! The passionfruit flavor was incredible, the fish was fresh and the dish was visually beautiful. The pan de yuca was warm and the chutney it's served with was subtly sweet without overpowering the pan de yuca. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection. The crispy potatoes were sooooo yummy and the cucumber salad added a nice refreshing element. Finished off with the banana rum cake, it had cacao nibs, was served warm with ice cream and the banana was brûléed. The service was phenomenal, would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Will certainly be back! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
