The food was super fresh and handmade. Although it was busy, the staff was always friendly and they gave their best to be as fast as possible. Also the restaurant itself is very lovely with a lot of details. Located in the middle and also very quiet, so you can enjoy a nice breakfast. Tea is on the house whenever you finish your glass the staff pours another one!
Terribly overrated. When we ordered the breakfast they did not even have fresh ekmek to serve with it, just some brown supermarket stuff. I mean if you want to showcase Turkey, offer Trabzon bread too, try harder. Sweet pancakes were soggy and burnt. Staff is made up of people who don't love food and don't strive for perfection. This is one of the many places I see that have manufactured or snowballed ratings on google and tripadvisor thanks to knowing how to channel people in by working hotel and hostel reception staff. Stay away if you are a discerning traveler and a foodie. Look at where locals go. You are better off siting down in some unassuming place for a portion of börek and a glass of milk. Or give business to some real coffee places of which there are many with some even doing their own roasting. These guys are just coasting and that is not enough... My first visit is going to be my last.
We have Turkish Breakfast here for 2. It's awesome. Nice atmosphere.
