After visiting Galipdede Caddesi, come here for a meal. Turkish cuisine provides authentic dishes at this cafe. Try nicely cooked lentil soup, halloumi and gozleme at Cafe Privato Restaurant. Many guests say that waiters serve tasty pancakes, baklava and parfait here. It is nice to enjoy delicious beer. Lovely place and I liked the atmosphere of the cafe and the area. They serve cute small dishes, which taste very nice. But the bread was super dry and it was a pity as I wanted to enjoy these small dishes with good bread. Also a couple of small dishes were missing. I was looking forward to the avocado paste, but when I asked a waiter, he said it was finished. I don’t think they necessarily replaced with other thing. Looking at the old review from 1 year ago, the village breakfast price used to be 325TL for 1 person. Now 825TL. (2.5 times increase in approx 1 year). So it’s rather an expensive breakfast for tourists now I guess, also with the 10 percent service fee added automatically to the bill. Good one-off experience and lovely food. We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and didn’t know what to expect. We had tried a few places for breakfast before this and loved them all. We were recommended by a friend to come to Cafe Privato. The food was good and did level with the other breakfasts that we had whilst visiting Istanbul. However, for the price point, I do think you can secure a better breakfast elsewhere. If you’re looking for a great breakfast and this place is local then I would recommend! This has to be a highlight of our time in Istanbul. We came for the traditional village breakfast, and it was so good that we came back for dinner (which was also some of the best we’ve had).
