Caffè Accademia is pretty near Istituto Centrale per la Grafica. Visitors may order perfectly cooked spaghetti carbonara, steaks and ravioli at this bar. Don't miss the opportunity to drink good cordial. Guests don't highly appreciate cheesecakes and latte macchiato at Caffè Accademia.

The cozy atmosphere of this place allows customers to relax after a hard working day. Based on the guests' opinions, the waitstaff can be terrific. In spite of the popularity among clients, the weak side of this spot is its disappointing service. Many clients report that prices are medium. As a lot of reviewers state, the decor at this bar is fancy. But google users rated Caffè Accademia and it didn't achieve a high rating.

This is by far the worst café I’ve visited in Rome. The service is absolutely abysmal — slow, unprofessional, and blatantly selective in how they treat guests. Some customers were served with smiles, while others, like us, were ignored and treated as if we didn’t belong there. The cleanliness is shocking. Glasses were dirty, with visible marks from previous use. The coffee was beyond disgusting — bitter, poorly made, and nothing like the quality you’d expect in Italy, let alone Rome. This place does not deserve to operate in a city known for its hospitality and culinary excellence. If I could give zero stars, I would. There are so many wonderful cafés in Rome; Caffè Accademia should not even be considered an option. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I really wish I’d read these reviews before sitting down for breakfast. €88 for 2 coffees and 2 scrambled egg on toast! The waitress had the cheek to tell us that tips were not included! When we sat down we were provided with the drink and cafe menu. She told us she could do scrambled egg with toast. This was not on the menu but was just what we were looking for. We didn’t ask the price, but why would you…it’s scrambled egg with toast. How expensive could it be? She offered us bacon in addition, which we thankfully turned down. We got our coffees, a plate each with scrambled egg on its own (I’d say 3 eggs) and a plate each with a slice and a half of toast drizzled with garlic oil. It all tasted nice. I nearly fell off my seat when the bill came. €88! When we questioned it she brought out the dinner menu (which we had not previously been provided with) and she pointed to the dinner main course of omelette, chips and salad at €23 per person…plus coffee at €9 each and the toast at €6 each. Plus 17% ‘tax’ as she described it. Having argued that we had had no chips or salad we managed to get down to €74! Thankfully we managed to catch a couple of people who were about to sit down and warn them off. I note the owner’s repeated reply to bad reviews stating the prices are clearly stated on the menu, but what we had was not on the menu and they just picked something off the dinner menu and charged us for that. The restaurant may be in a historical location, but it is on a main road next to McDonald’s with no view of anything of interest at all to justify the astronomical pricing.
