All the clients like great Cajun and Creole cuisines at this restaurant. Perfectly cooked fried prawns, rich gumbo and shrimp po' boys are the best dishes. If you want to taste some good Daiquiris, Calliope’s South Main is a nice choice for you.

What was a solid experience turned awkward because of the server, Travis, at the drive-thru window. I’ve frequented this restaurant a few times, and the lovely ladies inside have always been so accommodating. For this particular order, I asked if the seasoning sprinkled on the fries could also be added to the top of my fried fish platter. It was made to seem like such a difficult request, even though I’ve asked for this favor before and never had an issue. I’m big on consistency when it comes to customer service, and I’ve never had a problem paying for an extra sauce—or in this case, seasoning—if needed. Unfortunately, his attitude while handing me my food was rude, and he almost forgot my drink. It’s a small interaction, but experiences like that stick with you. We were in town for a short trip and came across this place by chance. Glad we stopped cause the food was delicious. Very well worth it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $10–20
