The best dinner I've had at a restaurant in ages. Josh Capon knocked it out of the park with this flagship restaurant. Our server, Patrice, was pure class and a joy to have. From the cocktails to the food, it was like a breath of fresh air. The foccacia is wonderful alongside the whipped hot honey ricotta. West coast oysters 10/10 with the pineapple and Serrano combo. The burger was melt-in-your-mouth perfection and the disco fries are the best version of American poutine you will ever have. The ribeye cap steak was 10/10 cooked to perfection and a must-get. I've been following Chef Capon for years, even before I lived in Jersey, and I'm so glad that this place blew my expectations out of the water. Absolute vibes.

Stopped by for lunch today (5/13/26) with my wife, perused the menu and opted for the pre fixe menu, wife had the crispy rice which come 4 per order, 2 salmon 2 tuna. Man what burst of flavors that are fantastically balanced!! I had the Market Salad which was packed with citrus, crisp in season ingredients of baby lettuce, shaved asparagus, miso orange vinaigrette!! Just wow! Entrees we had the grilled Branzino, perfectly seasoned with awesome crispy skin, and steak frites perfect medium temp, crispy addicting fries, what a meal! Leave room for the Carrot Cake, perhaps the best I’ve ever had!! Our man Christopher took great care of our table and manager Angela is always greeting everyone with a warm smile. Capon’s is located at the perfect intersection of where awesome decor meets attention to detail and great execution meets warm genuine staff members = little slice of heaven My wife doesn’t like to go to the same resto back to back, she’s already asking when should we go? I knew I wanted to choose a truly special spot to celebrate my mom’s 87th birthday, and Capon's Chophouse absolutely did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, everything felt top-tier. The food was incredible — a steakhouse experience comparable to the very best in NYC. And the burger? Hands down the best burger we have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, incredibly flavorful, and unforgettable. What made the visit even more special was the hospitality. The chef came by our table several times to check in on us, which added such a personal touch. The service was amazing — attentive without ever being overbearing.
