Very good *almost* excellent meal...we had a nice salad, delicious scallops ceviché, strozzapreti pasta, and a steak. The pasta oddly had charred edamame pod skins which added flavor but of course are too fibrous to eat. The steak was cooked perfectly but slightly underseasoned or at least missing that perfect umami crust/char. The wine program is fabulous with a diverse selection of reasonably priced bottles and glasses. I'd go back because I think this place is capable of a 5 star meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $80–90

Anand, Thank you for your comments. We meet weekly as a team and I will share your comments with the staff. We are always looking for ways that we can make what we do, in all areas of the restaurant, better. We are also very excited as we have some really interesting and new wine options coming in. Thanks again Anand. Mike

Excellent! I suggest a wine flight to get a taste of several of their wine selections. I had the dry reds. The food was delicious and the hospitality/service was top notch. The owner made us feel welcome and was very attentive while our server Larue was knowledgeable and gave us fabulous recommendations. I highly recommend choosing this restaurant in the neighborhood of the arts.

Jennifer, Thank you for commenting on your experience at Carnegie. We have about 50 wines by the glass and we change the flights every month so guests can try something different when they are here. LaRue has been with us for a year and just passed her WSET Level 2 exam and will be taking the Level 3, so she is very passionate about wine. Thank you for recognizing. Mike

Went to Carnegie Cellars Wine Bar & Kitchen for dinner before a show at the Auditorium. The place was cozy, sophisticated but comfortable, and we were greeted right away and welcomed. The food was absolutely delicious but our dinners came out at different times. The menu states the food arrives as ready, my husbands chicken cutlet was perfect and my steak frites came about 10 minutes later but was “melt in your mouth” delicious! The service was attentive but not intrusive and we felt no rush. A great place that we will be going to again later this month and bringing friends! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
