Food was absolutely lovely, the octopus tartar was just a so well executed and the stuffed zucchini were delicious !! The pana cota (that raspberry coulis, omg) and the crumble were great too ! Lovely staff too, thanks again Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–45 Vegetarian options: The zucchini!

I am really surprised by the high ratings for this restaurant. We had a disappointing meal here, the food was very mid - my potatoes were under done as if they had been par boiled and then never actually fried/roasted as intended. Octopus was overcooked. I would have forgiven the mid food if the service was good but we ordered 2 rounds of drinks, both times we had to remind them to bring them as we had waited over 10 minutes. When we asked for the bill, they also never came to get our payment. For the above average prices, this seems like a massive tourist trap. Castelo Restaurant offers a wonderful mix of traditional Greek cuisine with a modern twist. We tried several starters and main courses — all were absolutely delicious. The local white wine paired perfectly with every dish, and the dessert, an apple crumble, was outstanding. Be prepared — the portions are generous! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
