Cat Nab Fish Bar is pretty near Saltburn Cliff Lift. This restaurant may please you with nicely cooked fish & chips, cod and calamari. To taste good ice cream is a really nice idea. Great tea goes well with the nice meal.

Just poor. After walking down the beach for an hour from south Redcar we usually have fish n chips from Oscars by the peir. Shut today. Stopped here instead before the walk back. Rubbish. Small fish, with gapping fillet which usually means old. Seafood platter was burned. Avoid. Service: Take out Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Best fish and chips I have had in a very very long time. After an initial slightly offputting response to our enquiry as to how long they would be open (at 16.30) where they said they planned to close shortly due to lack of customers (but hey, it was early in the day so I wasn't surprised at that fact! that's what I would expect people these days generally eat dinner between 18.00 and 20.00). As a southerner am slowly am getting used to chippy's closing early in Yorkshire - down South they are open to late for pub goers etc. We got our meal at 17.30 only to discover they did remain open much later, probably more customers! Lol. Still, I have to say that the Haddock and chips I had were fantastic, good sized fish, light crisp batter - none of that stodgy stuff underneath the crust which I dislike intensely, chips good. The Cod and chips the rest of the family had we great too.
