Excellent tour and explanation by Freddy. Loved the chocolate tasting the new flavors.Private 1-1 for $25 is excellent. The gift bags were a good idea for family. I would say try it delightful experience Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A unique establishment. The coco is grown by the owner and made into fine chocolate, they sell cigars, made from tabaco leaves they also grow. The beer. A fine IPF. Is also brewed by the owner im lead to believe. Lovely place to chill, smoke a cigar, drink a good beer, listen to good music and escape the heat of the day. Love this place for whst it offers. Also sells handy crafts. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cata Chocolate is absolutely delightful! The chocolate is of very high quality, and the owners are amazing. We did a chocolate tasting with the owner, Freddy, and learned all about the history of this little shop, how they produce their chocolate, and then tried a number of their delicious chocolate bars and truffles. I cannot recommend the experience highly enough. If you are a lover of chocolate, this is the place to be. If you don’t really love chocolate, you will by the time you leave. We spent a week in the Papagayo area, and this experience was the highlight of our trip. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
