Had such a wonderful experience at Ceylon Curry Club! The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and relaxing, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. The food was absolutely amazing, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in. A special thank you to Sampath for his warm hospitality, kindness, and friendly attitude. He made sure we were well looked after and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We tried the Egg & Prawn Godamba Roti, Chicken Devilled, baked curd, and the chocolate milkshake. Every single dish was delicious! The baked curd is an absolute must-try—it's honestly one of the best desserts I've had. The chocolate milkshake was rich, creamy, and so good! This was our first visit, and we already can't wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend Ceylon Curry Club for anyone looking for delicious food, a peaceful atmosphere, and outstanding service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was my last two nights in Colombo, and I wanted to try the famous pork curry that so many locals from different regions had recommended. After doing some research, I found this restaurant because it was known for serving one of the best pork curries in town. Apparently, it wasn’t. I arrived at 10:05 PM, and my main dish wasn’t served until 10:50 PM. Thankfully, the manager noticed me while I was finishing my appetizer and asked if I was done with my meal. I told him, “No, I’m still waiting for my pork curry.” He immediately went to the kitchen, and about five minutes later, my pork curry finally arrived. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy it at all. I kept taking a few bites, hoping my opinion would change, but it never did. I eventually stopped eating and just sat there frowning at my table. The manager noticed my reaction and came over to ask, “Did you like the food?” I honestly told him, “No, I didn’t. It’s too watery, not spicy enough, and it tastes like the sauce was rushed. The pork was only moderately tender.” He apologized immediately and offered to prepare another dish for me, but I politely declined. Instead, he insisted on giving me a complimentary dessert, which I gladly accepted. He also removed the pork curry from my bill, which I really appreciated. The dessert was absolutely delicious. The manager (who was also the cashier) was incredibly kind and handled the situation so professionally. I wish I had remembered his name. The appetizer was also really good. What disappointed me was the pork curry itself. I was already hungry, waited 45 minutes for my main dish, and after all that anticipation, it just wasn’t what I expected. We visited Ceylon Curry Club specifically for their hoppers, and they did not disappoint! The entire experience was amazing, especially since they cooked them fresh right in front of us. Watching the process made the meal feel so authentic and special. The hoppers were perfectly crispy on the edges, soft in the center, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the live cooking added a great touch to our evening. If you are looking for incredible, authentic Sri Lankan hoppers, this is the place to go.
