Nicely cooked grilled chicken, clam chowder and roast beef have a nice taste. The chef at this bar cooks tasty chocolate custard, banana pies and chocolate cakes. This place is known for good Sangria, beer or wine. Some clients recommend great lemonade or delicious coffee at Chelo's.
You can listen to live music in the evening. The knowledgeable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Professional service is something visitors like here. Our family is a regular at Chelo's, visiting sometimes twice a week. And let me tell you, the service here is simply unbeatable - the friendly staff always make us feel right at home. It's no wonder my daughter has her heart set on working here someday. And who can blame her? She adores the kids' mac and cheese, which she orders without fail every time we visit. And as for my wife, she can't get enough of the Chicken Parmesan Dinner - a scrumptious breaded chicken smothered in marinara sauce and topped with melted mozzarella cheese, all served over your choice of pasta. And of course, we always upgrade with Pink Sauce for that extra burst of flavor. As for me, my go-to meal is the Met's Mushroom Burger, which was voted the best burger in Rhode Island. And trust me when I say, it's not hard to see why - this 1/2 lb. Angus beef patty is perfectly cooked to your liking, then topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted American cheese.
