Catered food from Chick 'n Chop for a family dinner tonight and wow everything was amazing. Bone-in chicken, chicken breast, kifta, roasted veggies, fries, yellow rice, and a fresh cut salad. The bone in chicken was super juicy, kifta was so flavorful and the salad was very fresh. My husband eats lunch at the restaurant and says that it’s super clean. Great hidden gem! We went just to try something new but to get the same thing as always. We got Cancun bowl with beans and the steak wrap. Both were delicious, however the bowl was definitely superior. We did get a cookie (double chocolate) that was a bit dry but the chunks of chocolate were perfect, it definitely would pair best with a glass of milk but not by itself. The man working there was sweet and patient, very efficient. I couldn’t tell if he was by himself but if he a then more props batter he was fast. The price was pretty good, $22 for everything. He put plenty of sauce in our bag which was like the cilantro garlic you get at any Latin grill restaurant. TLDR: The food, price, and service were great. What a great spot hidden away. I came in late afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all, but very clean. I was looking for some chicken and veggies and boy did it hit the spot. Spoke to the owner for a while. Said he was on federal for 18yrs and had to move because of rent cost. This will definitely be on my weekly rotation. Very recommended and will be back!
