I ordered to go the pupusa (revuelta), taco de asada and 2 sopes. The pupusa barely had any filling. The taco de asada didn't have very much meat. For the sope, it seemed more like a tostada because it was so fried. I think I paid more for the price of the packaging than the food. I hadn't visited here in a while so I thought the food would still be good, but I was wrong. I am very disappointed and I'm not coming back. Today was my first time eating at Chilango’s and I have to say I wasn’t very impressed. I ordered two chicken tacos and a side of rice and beans (no drink) and the total came out to $19. It says on their website tacos are $3.50 each, but I guess that only includes the meat as other toppings like cheese and sour cream cost additional, there’s even an added charge for the tortilla, which I found odd. tacos were overall pretty good, but there were a few grizzly pieces of chicken, and the bright red sauce they give you is insanely hot. I’m typically a huge fan of hot food, even the hot food most people can’t tolerate. I would consider giving it another try maybe at lunchtime if they offer specials.
