We don’t speak Japanese, so our hotel kindly made the reservation for us. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating, especially with our two young kids. Even though it was a weekday and only the downstairs was supposed to be open, they welcomed us upstairs into a private room and provided personal service just for us. The prices might seem high at first glance, but the quality and portions were outstanding and well worth it. We had the sashimi platter, shellfish platter, and several cooked dishes and all were top notch! Only downsides is that they don't have menus in other languages so you'll have to point to pictures or use a translate app...also they don't serve draft beer but most people have sake with their meal so not a big issue.
