Excellent food. İ lived in Beijing for 3 years, and this is the szechuan food I remember from neighborhood restaurants. Spicy beans, spicy eggplant, great lamb and onions. The scallion pancake is a little thicker than the street food i remember, but it's excellent food. Steamed cabbage is great. 10/10 recommend for legit actual food you'd get in mainland China, not American/westernized Chinese food. 羊肉串在哪里？！. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Happened to be in the area and was looking for a good lunch stop and glad I stumbled upon Chuan Cafe! Their lunch specials are such great value and had plenty of options. I got the mapo tofu lunch special for $11.90 and it came with rice and your choice of soup. The food came out very quickly and warm. Overall, Chuan Cafe is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a delicious and great value lunch meal. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
