Wanted to try a sample of the new lemon cake batter ice cream but they said they can’t give a sample but I could pay for a sample. I went ahead and just bought a small one instead of paying for a sample. Sadly the flavor was not good, I wish they still provided free samples since I would have know I didn’t like it before buying. Edit for in response to the owner: the primary problem you ignored in your response was that you required paying for a sample. When questioned about that the employees were adamant that the policy is to charge for samples. I was very surprised and they were apologetic about it. It is a very bad policy you should change it.

Hi Jeremy, We're sorry to hear that you were unable to get a sample of the new lemon cake batter ice cream and that the flavor did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating it can be when a purchase doesn't turn out as hoped. If you could provide us more details here: www.coldstonecreamery.com/contactus a member of the team will be in touch! Thanks for your feedback!

I placed an order on Friday through cold Stone creamery and I even programmed it because I had to click later and then click the time in the date for yesterday at 4:20. I walk in there and I say I have an order for My name and she says what is it and I said it’s a cake and she said oh and then she grabs her receipt looks at me and says that was yesterday I said I ordered it yesterday but it was for today. She makes a phone call and she’s calls whoever she’s talking to she says something along the lines of it happened again same Thing it was yesterday, but she wanted it today and then she hanged up the phone. She says I’m sorry. We had the cake yesterday. I said you don’t have the cake now she said no you can have that cake and turned around and pointed at the cookies and cream cake in her case. I said I don’t want that cake. Can I have a refund and she said I can’t refund you you have to call the website. Have a good day. This was for my 30th birthday And I don’t have anything to celebrate with my family

We ordered a kids birthday ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery and it was a huge hit. The design was fun and the flavors were rich and creamy. Way better than standard cakes you get from grocery stores. If you need themed ice cream cakes or kids party cakes in Chicago, I highly recommend them.
