Michelin selection.

Situated near the lake at the entrance to a narrow street dotted with various shops, this small contemporary-style restaurant boasts an equally tiny outdoor space for summer dining and is run with skill and professionalism by a young couple. The friendly, welcoming wife oversees the front of house, while her husband creates dishes full of character in the kitchen. More info

A truly exceptional meal. The chef’s meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality shine through in every course. The ingredients were outstanding, the execution flawless, and each dish showcased both creativity and extraordinary flavor. COMI107 Ristorante, Michelin recommended, is one of those places that quietly exceeds expectations. With just 14 seats, the restaurant feels intimate and somewhat unusual—almost bunker-like, with little to no phone signal. In the end, that’s part of the charm: you’re fully focused on the food. I chose the 8-course seafood tasting menu (€95), which represents excellent value. The evening started with freshly baked bread, salted butter, anchovies and seaweed, setting the tone immediately. Highlights included scallops with coriander sauce and caviar, shrimp with yellow tomato and strawberries, and an excellent amberjack course. The undisputed star of the evening was the linguine with clams and smoked bottarga. Perfectly al dente and packed with flavor, it was the kind of pasta dish you’ll remember long after you’ve left. The wine program is small but thoughtful. Only a couple of wines are available by the glass, all served via Coravin. A crisp Stajnbech Sauvignon Blanc from Alto Adige paired beautifully with the earlier courses, while an off-menu recommendation from the chef—Illivio by Livio Felluga from Friuli-Venezia Giulia—brought more complexity to the second half of the menu. The fish soup, the chef’s interpretation of a bouillabaisse without saffron, was rich, generous and full of seafood, although perhaps a little substantial as the penultimate course. A classic tiramisù provided a fitting finale. A serious seafood restaurant with a clear identity, excellent value for money and a chef who knows exactly what he’s doing.
