Had a wonderful experience at Coperta. The food was absolutely delicious. A special thank-you to chefs Paul & Ken for an amazing meal, and to the entire staff for making us feel so welcome. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. We’ll definitely be back! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The good: beautiful restaurant and great location. Great wine and service The bad: it was incredibly hot in the room by the kitchen. Everyone was fanning themselves with menus. We had to ask for ice with our water and the beer I got was almost room temp. The focaccia was good but not served with anything like butter or olive oil and balsamic, just the bread. The chicken was a little overdone, skin not crispy, and boring. The polenta was dry. The carbonara had almost no meat in it and tasted more like cacio e Pepe with ham than carbonara. They also had a lot of info on their menu and their website about using local fresh ingredients but midsummer it was hard to find summer veggies on the menu. No fresh tomato starter. No summer veggie pastas. Overall a disappointing meal for the price. Especially when it is their 10 year anniversary. Price per person: $90–100 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Food is great. Prices are not. When asked “still or sparkling water”, be prepared to pay $8 for a giant San Pelligrino or still water glass bottle. It’s nowhere on the menu, and your server/bartender won’t care to mention it. The food was IMO great, but overpriced for what you get. The rigatoni, while $18, had 8 of the tiniest pieces of meat you can imagine. You don’t get bread with your meal, that’s another $4-8. Then there’s the mandatory 23% fee. I joked to my friend that the giant bottle of water was probably what some of that was going towards, but nope, that’s also another $8. All in all, an overpriced experience where in Denver, there’s better options. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Rigatoni Carbonara
