While visiting Exeter, we noticed the Cornish Bakehouse and loving a Cornish pasty I couldn't help myself, I had to go over and taste their wares. I ordered a Giant Cornish pasty (which did defeat me!) for only £5.95 which I thought was very reasonable and my wife had a cheese and bacon pasty, which she said contained more potato than cheese. We also ordered two cannoli's, never tasted one before, but as we are soon off to New York, we thought we'd give them a go, and very tasty they were too... I was on a sugar high for hours afterwards, much to the dismay of my wife. The service was excellent, the young chap who took care of our order was extremely polite and friendly. So if you are looking for pastry based items or some tasty snacks and you are in Exeter, pop along and satisfy those cravings.
