We showed up without a reservation and they seated us without hesitation. I am 90% sure we were the only Americans there which was really refreshing. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and kind, and the atmosphere was perfect. We got the homemade pasta, lasagna, eggplant meatballs, and Parma ham. We had a really bad experience at a different restaurant the night before that ended up being a tourist trap and this was anything but that. We even saw them set up additional tables outside for people when they wanted to sit outside but they ran out of tables. They brought us complimentary amaro and candies at the end as well. This was the authentic experience we were hoping for the entire time we were in Italy. Went for lunch today at Coso Ristorante. Was very busy place at lunchtime but they found me a beautiful table upstairs by the window. The food was delicious. My wife ordered tortellini and I had a Bolognese lasagna. I tried her tortellini and it was absolutely amazing. I had the lasagna and it was something that grandma would make. So delicious. We didn’t wait long for our drinks to arrive and our food came out very quickly. Considering how busy this restaurant was. I would totally recommend this place.
