While visiting Rome and staying near the Spanish Steps, our host recommended Il Chianti Osteria Toscana dal 1960 — and we are so glad we came. This place truly exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Tuscan flavor. Every dish tasted fresh, well-prepared, and comforting in the best way. You can tell they have been doing this since 1960 — there’s a real tradition and quality behind the menu. The staff and waitresses were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in, and the service was both professional and warm. If you are looking for an authentic Tuscan restaurant in Rome near the Spanish Steps, this is definitely worth visiting.
