First time visiting The Crown Inn in Bishops Canning today, just a 5 mile drive from centre of Calne. Walked in to a warm welcome from the landlord, Colin and one of the regulars! Sat at the bar with our drinks and had a nice little chat. Decided to order food which arrived promptly and was faultless. Tasty caesar salad with the best fresh croutons ever and the chicken strips meal. Had a quick look at the outside area which looks inviting in a summers day. We were told about an upcoming charity event and about the camping facilities. You can tell Colin and Karen have been cultivating a family friendly venue for visitors and regulars alike. Would recommend a visit and we will definitely be back. Thank you to Colin & Karen Service: 5

What a lovely midday lunch we had. First visit for us but will certainly return with our friends. Tasty home cooked food, lovely beer, good value. Made so welcome. Plenty of sitting area outside, camping available. Thank you. Service: 5
