Bloody marvellous place,had my first pint of Wadworth in 35 years . Landlady was exceptional in cookery,in providing a welcoming atmosphere and generally being a brilliant host . Would heartily recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40

Stayed at the campsite at The New Inn. Lovely small pub with good beer and food including gluten free options. Only 8 tables inside but more outside with limited opening hours so best to book as the food is worth it. Grass field out the back with ehu and water, shower and toilets needs updating. There was a blockage in the elsan drain but that was fixed after a couple of days. Plenty of good walks to other pubs along the Kennet and Avon canal and only 2 mile walk into Devizes on a good byway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Dietary restrictions: Good choice of gluten free options Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Parking: Caravan and camping club camping field out the back.

An early Father's Day meal.
We were welcomed warmly and shown to our pre booked table.
Menu was a tad unusual but that was no problem.
Our choices were tasty and most enjoyable.
Quantity was just right so we were able to clear our plates.
Unfortunately we had no room for 'afters'.
We will be back!
