We made reservations at their earliest time to allow for a more quiet dining experience. It was my husbands 25th birthday so we wanted something special and a little more high end, from the beginning it was sort of here or there in experience. The hostess seemed annoyed she needed to get off her phone to seat us, we had reserved but she didn't ask so im assuming it really wasnt all that necessary to reserve a spot. We were seated close to the kitchen and the view from the windows was incredible. The champagne offered was delicious, light and not too dry but definitely on the stronger side for a pre dinner drink. Our waitress was lovely, soft spoken and attentive, she really added to the dining atmosphere and overall experience. I ordered the lavender scape and a side of simple syrup however the cocktail was so well balanced and delicious I didn't even need my usual syrup. Not to mention the presentation of the cocktail was gorgeous, beautiful gradient with smoking rosemary. Perfect. We started our meal with the meatball, which was also incredible. The flavor was well present and the ricotta was smooth and quite like nothing ive ever had. The bread served was also delicious, a perfect sourdough, dipping oil needed to be requested. We ordered the watermelon panzanella split for two as our second course and it was interesting. The texture was hard to stomach as the watermelon is melted by the balsamic vinagrette and sort of sours the rest of the flavors. My husband ordered the ribeye with no mustard glaze, there was a miscommunication on the temperature, the staff was accommodating and refired it for him, however the meat was just off. He ordered it rare to medium rare, and it was incredibly fatty, none of the fat had been cooked off and the seasoning was lacking. Regardless of the mustard glaze being removed ive had better seasoned, trimmed and rare meat at Applebee's. I ordered al a cart clams in a wine sauce, which again the staff was incredibly accommodating to make this for me, however it doesnt negate the fact they smelled like a dumpster covered in lemon juice. I couldnt get the smell out of my fingers until after 5 to 6 washes, which is unacceptable. I ordered the cheese wheel pasta as well, and even though our waitress seemed nervous she did an amazing job, it was an incredible experience to watch her light the cheese wheel on fire and spin the pasta at the table. The flavour was delicious, as parmeson cheese is delicious. The last thing id add to this is that the management was incredibly intimidating and overbearing. We had been honest about the salad not being quite what we expected to our waitress and im sure in due process she said something to the manager. Before she left our table we made it clear we meant no malice by the commentary and we didn't need anything taken off the bill, because up until the salad everything had been perfect. The manager came to our table multiple times to stand over us while we tried our food and at one point the chef and the manager lingered for an uncomfortable amount of time. Usually a managers presence allows you a comfortable space to talk about the meal and things you dont like, however I felt as though speaking up would have caused an escalation in her attitude. I really wasnt expecting light banter about food with our waitress to turn into a manager barraging the rest of our dinning experience. Some of the food is good, the wait staff is amazing and the cocktails are great. I think the staff should have better knowledge of whats fresh and to know making recommendations allows for a better dining experience. The management needs training. Overall we will not be dining here again. Price per person: $40–50

It was a pleasant surprise to be offered a glass of bubbly upon arriving and checking in for our reservation. Our waiter was friendly and attentive without being annoying or feeling like we were being rushed. Personally I hate when waiters clear half a table while the other members of the party are still eating and I appreciate that he didn't do that. The food was delicious as was dessert. When I asked about the after dinner drinks he said the espresso martini would be a better pick than the tiramisu martini and I wish I had taken his recommendation - the tiramisu martini lacked depth and I wouldn't recommend it. But the carrot cake (gf) was amazing. Overall the experience was fantastic and we'll return. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The food was perfect! From the warm sour dough bread to the creamy rich tiramisu it was fresh and very tasty. The service was great and entertaining. The decor was classic creating a very relaxing but sophisticated atmosphere, several tables were set in a more private setting. Very well thought out. But the acoustics were the best I have experienced at a restaurant in a long time. There were 8 people at our table and I could hear what was being said by everyone. Price per person: $70–80
$$$$ Price range per person $40-$90
