We went on a Friday night. Server took our order at 6:15. Never got our food until 7:40! She kept apologizing for the kitchen and kept checking for our food. Once it came, things were lukewarm at best. Forgot the side of sweet potato fries, they were nice and hot when they came. Overall food was good, but could have been warmer (unless it was ready and just sitting to be taken up to the patio), our server was great, but the kitchen was very slow and food lukewarm by the time it got up to the patio. Also sides with sandwiches were wrong or missing. And our chicken order was never brought! Overall good food, but the kitchen staff and servers taking it to the tables need to be more efficient. Sheri, we are training new cooks, plus most of our staff are also new. We realize cooking grilled cheese sandwiches for two floors is not at our advantage.. Our apologies

It was difficult to find a parking spot. We didn’t get our food until over 1 hour after we ordered. People who arrived after us got their food before we did. All of the food was cold except for the soup. All of the grilled cheese sandwiches were burnt on one side. The cook tried to hide this by plating all the sandwiches with the burnt side down. And no, we did not bother sending our food back because it’s not like they were going to have a different cook make our food, and we definitely didn’t want to wait another hour. We ended up peeling most of the burnt part off and eating what was left because we were so hungry. Was it everyone’s first day working there? As we were leaving, a woman who appeared to be a manager stated, “thank you for your patience”. Which means she knew it was crappy service and didn’t do anything about it while we were there. Today me, my sister in law and our kids were treated terribly at The Lockview restaurant in Akron. We were at the Akron Children's Museum and asked for a kid friendly place to go to for lunch they recommend The Lockview restaurant ( disclaimer I don't think the museum would have recommended them if they knew how they treat people with kids). When we walked in the manager said to us the wait is 20 minutes are you sure you want to wait, you can just go next door. Well next door was a taco place that our kids wouldn't eat at. The wait wasn't 20 minutes it was more like 5. She was just trying to get us not to eat there. Once we were seated within minutes she told us that this place is a place for business people to eat lunch and we needed to be quiet. Then 10 minutes later she came to our table looked at my 3 year old and said "be quiet". She then said do they need crackers but never came back with any. My sister in law went to talk to her before we left and she was even more rude. My sister in law told her how one of my sons has sensory processing disorder and the lady said she has a kid with special needs and doesn't bring him out in public. That I shouldn't bring my kid out. Then my sister in law said the museum recommended for us to eat there and she said she doesn't want business from the museum. The sad thing is my 3 year old told me lady is mean. He understood the lady was being mean to him. I will never return there!!
