Great place on the beach, Michaela is a wonderful host, always nice and willing to do everything so you can enjoy your beach moments at the fullest! Great choice of drinks, beds and umbrella at a good price, so it was a perfect spot for us on most of our days in Rethymno. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–15

Very disappointing experience. Before using the sunbeds, I asked about the conditions. I was told that each person simply had to order a €7 drink. What was never explained is that this meant paying €7 for the first drink, even if the same beer normally costs only €4 on the menu. Any additional drinks were charged separately. This important information was not communicated in advance. When I questioned the bill, the owner started shouting at us instead of calmly explaining the situation. During the argument, she even admitted that this was “not the first time” customers had misunderstood the rules. If the same misunderstanding keeps happening, then the problem is clearly the way the conditions are communicated, not the customers. I have no problem paying when everything is explained honestly and transparently. What I do have a problem with is unclear pricing and aggressive behavior toward customers who simply ask for clarification. My advice to future visitors: walk just 10 meters further down the beach. There are other places with clear, transparent conditions where you know exactly what you’re paying for. Service: 1 Price per person: €20–25
