We went right at opening on a Saturday. Parking is limited but, thankfully we got a spot relatively easily. The (who I’m assuming is the owner/chef) greeted us warmly and we ordered on a screen and sat inside. My husband and I got the Wagyu Doda Burger, Orange Chicken, and the Spicy Kanpachi Roll. We split all 3 dishes and it was more than enough food. Doda Burger: Who knew cucumber went well on a burger. It gave it a nice fresh element to the wagyu burger. You can tell the buns are made in-house. I really want to try the Kimchi burger next time. Orange Chicken: Better than your average orange chicken. Solid. Spicy Kanpachi Roll: My favorite of the 3. You can tell the bluefin tuna is extremely fresh. The flavor was perfect and I’m sad I didn’t get my own roll.lol The owner even gave us a Ferrero Rocher chocolate at the end which was so sweet. Food was excellent. Burger, Doda fries, onion rings and sushi. Fresh made to order. Was wonderful. The owner/chef was so polite and kindHe really cares about his customers and the food he serves. As we were ordering I asked for suggestions which he provided and said if we didn’t care for anything we had he would refund our money. He came out from the kitchen to check on us and briefly visit. He even offered chocolates as we were finishing our food. Not much in the way of ambience but impeccably clean. Everything was great. Please support this talented chef and small business owner. The Classic Burger at Doda Burger & Sushi is the best burger I’ve ever had. Period. But let’s talk about that bun. It tasted like it was made with love — soft, fresh, perfectly toasted. Everything about this burger felt intentional, from the ingredients to the presentation. You can tell the owner cares deeply about quality. I’m genuinely impressed.
