After proposing to my fiancé me and my friends celebrated by seeing if we could find a good speakeasy in Renton. We were not expecting a nostalgic heaven filled with some of the kindest most accommodating places we have yet to visit. 5 stars is not enough to match the experience we had on such a magical day. Even got to meet the Darren himself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Darren's was an amazing experience. We met Darren the owner and he welcomed us like family. He was having a private party but invited us in for a drink. My husband's Smokey Old Fashion was really good and I had bourbon and diet coke which was perfectly balanced. Darren let us play DJ. So we put Flo Rida on and really enjoyed the vibe! The vibe was one of welcome, awesome service, and amazing music I played darts and really enjoyed that. There's also a pool table and a video game area. It's a great venue for parties and chilling! Everyone is welcome at Darren's Speakeasy! Price per person: $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Darren’s Speakeasy is the place to bring friends for a chill hangout. There is lots of available parking, the space is cool looking and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for a hangout spot. LGBTQ+ friendly too Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
