My family and I were looking for a place.where we could go and enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. This place far exceeded our expectations!! The food was AMAZING and Miya our hostess made everything even more wonderful. Qe have DEFINITELY added Curry Club to our regular stops. I’ve enjoyed the lunch special here several times now, and while I wasn’t ever wowed by anything, it has all been perfectly adequate. The lunch special is quick and affordable, offers both meat and vegetarian options (the selection of dishes is kept intentionally tiny to keep the cost down), but the dishes are not always piping hot any longer toward the end of lunch. But the price and convenience keep me coming back. The staff has been, again, perfectly serviceable over the years, some people are pleasant, some have been curt, some have been stingy with the portions, others are more generous (especially towards the end of lunch). They know you’re not choosing to eat here because you want to be pampered, you’re here for an affordable, quick lunch and that’s absolutely fine by me. On a related note. This place also has a pattern of temporarily upping the attentiveness of the staff when their online reviews begin to threaten to slip below 4 stars. So even the owners seem to have accepted the niche they’ve fallen into and are content to only put in enough effort to maintain things at the current status-quo. Which is also completely fine by me. Unfortunately the atmosphere has a lot to be desired and I would definitely eat here more often if the space felt more inviting. But again, quick and affordable. The lack of ambiance (to put it generously), keeps the space just uncomfortable enough to encourage people to eat and leave without lingering. As a result, I only ever eat here when I have a +1. I see plenty of would-be solo-people getting the lunch-special to go when I’m there, and I certainly can’t blame them for not wanting to stick around. I know that the internet hates nuance, so I’ve probably wasted my time writing this. But I was recently prompted to write a review and this is my honest opinion. I have been as generous as I could be with my word-choice, Curry Club serves a valuable niche, and I will keep getting lunch here whenever I have someone to keep me company. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

Food is delicious but I do not give them more stars because it was too hot for me, even was mild. Beer that I wanted was not available. Service is great, people are really kind, just sometimes for me is too much asking if I need something instead of letting me ask. The environment is probably something I think can improve. For me the key issue was too much air freshener odor and I'm sensitive to odors. But is a great place! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
