Pizza snob here from the NY area and raised on mom and pop East Coast brick oven pizza. I'm in no way a pizza expert but I've had my share of pizza pie and I know what I like and don't like. Dion's is a good substitute. Their crust tends to be on the thicker side but it can still be folded in true pizza fashion. Their cheese and marinara sauce are mildly flavored and not to zesty so it welcomes those pepper flakes. No brick oven but their pizza's are cooked in a large capacity oven which fares well. It's a sit down family friendly chain. Two large pies and 4 medium fountain drinks totalled $55. A bit pricey but understandably so in today's economy. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–60 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

My family gets Dion's Pizza every time we visit Albuquerque/Rio Rancho/Bernalillo. I love their "505" pizza. Green chiles and pepperoni on a pizza is excellent! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot Kid-friendliness: Kids can stand on a raised platform and watch the pizzas being made through a window.
