My wife and I arrived at Donoxtia without a reservation, and my heart sank as I realized that virtually every table was marked reserved already. But we were a little early for dinner and our server/manager/owner? took us immediately to a table nevertheless. We ordered drinks, some tapas and a burger - nothing big but we were still brought a fine plate of chorizo, olives and bread to start the evening. We appreciated the immaculate and attentive service and pleasant ambience, and as a bonus our server provided us with a thorough summary of Centro Merida's pending events and passtimes. The food was delicious, the establishment congenial, and the prices were far better than just competitive. Donoxtia has only recently opened, I understand, but our experience there was flawless. We will be back in Merida in three weeks and I plan to return to Donoxtia for another fine meal. Price per person: $300–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
