If there was a "no star" option that is what they would have received. Took an hour to get our food . They said it was because everyone ordered pancakes so the grill was tied up. Well you are in the business of serving breakfast for years now...figure it out. Maybe expand the kitchen with another grill. Food was OK but nothing to brag about for sure. We will not be returning. Should have went to McDonald's. Wasted over an hour of my life . Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Felt like your comfy, homey cafe. The staff was kind, generous, and funny! My husband and I cannot wait to be back! Worth the drive no matter where you are! The DownHome Cafe is more than just good down home cooking. It's about the people. The lunchtime crowd is filled with family and friends. The staff is very friendly and works incredibly hard during the lunch rush. The portions are large and flavorful. There are plenty of options for whatever your cravings may be. The catfish has a nice breading, and the sweet corn tastes like summer. I can't wait to try the homemade desserts!
