Beautiful venue! The food and drinks were a 10/10. The chef personally greeted us and our bartender was very attentive. I would recommend the lamb chops, wings, and lemon drop. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I waited 45 minutes for a waiter or waitress to serve me before walking out. On Monday, 16-Mar-26, I reserved a table for a party of 3 for 21-Mar-26 at 5PM. When I arrived to the establishment, no one was available to greet me, and I had to go to the bar to have someone take my reservation. Elysium is a Hookah-Restaurant hybrid, but is currently under renovations. The upstairs area was closed to the public, and so customers were ushered to sit in the lounge area. The lounge area is giving low budget college cafeteria vibes. The tables are particle wood, the floors are filthy, and the lighting are comprised of Temu stage lights and flood lamps that will flash on and off periodically. The bathroom lacks privacy stalls, which wouldn't be an issue if the men's bathroom door could be locked. Instead, I am greeted by another patron at a urinal directly next to the door. I'm sure Elysium will be a beautiful establishment once the contractors are actually given the time to complete the project. The manager had no records of my reservation and pointed me in the direction of some empty tables near the entrance of the establishment. This restaurant appears to be severely understaffed, as there only seemed to be two employees working the floor (including the manager). There was two large parties (10+) being served in reserved seating and another party of two seated 20ft. away from me. When I was sat down, the bartender approached me and gave me a menu and took my drink order. I never saw him again. The manager checked on me once to ensure that a waitress would come to take my order, then never acknowledged me for the rest of the night until my party decided to leave. The waitress did see us, but never came to take our order as she was too busy sitting down with another party taking shots. Elysium made my party feel like we were less than invisible - more of a nuisance to be ignored. This is unfortunate because Elysium has spent a lot of time and money to market their establishment as a "must visit" eatery on social media. Instead I'm greeted with a complete lack of service at the most basic level. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
