I’ve been here a couple of times for dinner, and it’s always busy, so I’d recommend making a booking if you want to secure a table. The atmosphere is nice, although the space can feel a bit cramped and it gets quite loud when it’s busy - but that’s pretty normal for a wine bar. The food was good. I especially liked the crispy chicken skin and the grilled whole calamari. The wines I chose were decent but nothing really stood out. Maybe I just picked the wrong ones . I’ll have to try some different options next time. Price per person: $80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I have been going to Embla since 2021 and it never disappoints. I live in Byron Bay and everytime I visit Melbourne I HAVE to go. Food, Wine list, Service, everything is always on point. Special thanks to Anthony for looking after us and recommending aperitif, a bottle of wine for dinner and pairing dessert wines with our dessert. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
