Wow this place is wow! In our 3 nights stay in Nikko, we had 2 dinners here just because the food was so good! What blew our minds were the Wagyu Yuba cappacio, the garlic rice and the beef cutlet - they were truly out of this world and we've never tasted anything like these before! Salivating now as I type this review! If you have bigger stomachs, go for the hamburg steak and the yakitori skewers. Our kids enjoyed the skewers! The menu is extensive so I'm sure there's something for everyone! The hosts can speak a good amount of English and they were so kind and friendly even though their restaurant is usually crowded. A charming place with good hospitality and delicious food. The skewers are grilled just nice and super juicy to the bite. Highly recommend the thigh meat and meatballs. Steaks/ hamburgs seemed to be main selling point of this shop...almost everyone ordered it and had at least one plate on their table. Will recommend the hamburg as it fell apart with a single cut of the knife. Thats how tender it was. Surprisingly, the steak still has room for improvement... When we cut it open, it seems to be "raw" (imagine in gordan ramsey's words) even though we ordered medium for it. We had to send it back to the kitchen. Do go early though. Had a wonderful meal / experience here. The warm lighting, the timber flooring, the spacious interior, with soft music playing in the background. It really warms my heart. Ordered the Enya Steak Set. Everything on the hot plate from the 200g steak to the little pieces of vegetables were delicious. I will definitely remember Enya whenever I think of Nikko.
