We were staying at the Hoshino Yado and went searching for a place for dinner. We happily entered the unassuming restaurant and were served a spectacular meal with even better service. I could not recommend the restaurant enough. As English speaking guests we felt welcome and borderline catered to. I'm so glad we stumbled in and would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting the area. I highly recommend the pork ribs as well. So incredible. Thank you for an amazing meal and wonderful service.

We had a wonderful experience at Mihashi Restaurant in Nikko. We ordered the steak set and the beef casserole, and both were absolutely delicious. The salad was also outstanding — the texture was perfect and the homemade dressing was beautiful and full of flavor. The service was warm and friendly, and we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. Thank you so much for such a lovely meal. We will definitely come back when we visit Nikko again. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
