My friend tells me, girl, you go there so much they should give you a membership. She’s right. I love ESTE. It all started with an anniversary dinner that rapidly became a let’s get fish tacos because we’re too hungry or I don’t feel like cooking or a life is good, let’s go to ESTE, life sucks, ESTE will fix it. Hands down, my favorite place in Austin (probably on Earth). Every time their dishes transport me to Mexico, the fish takes me back to the Pacific area. It is comforting, so delicious. If I have to pick my top five: tostada marisquera, camarones ricas, cevichito, pescado zarandeado, and the cachetada taco. Service is always outstanding. Their margs are absolutely delicious, wine selection is never wrong, oysters + wine to die for, desserts… oh man! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
