Avoid ordering off order yoyo website when ordering here as it was the first search that came up for me so i clicked onto it and order and payed the order never got accepted it was saying order is being processed and stayed like that for over 2 hours and i tried phoning this place there phone does not work at all you can not get through to them on anything , but i ended up going down to the shop and it’s shut so i’ve payed over £30 and i have no way to contact them so that’s wasted money , and also advertise your open when your not and close your websites when your not open so people like me aren’t wasting money Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I ordered i mixed doner and chips no salad and when he gave me my food It had no chips and it had salad so I got a new one and there was about 5 chips and hardly any meat and there still was salad in it NOT HAPPY. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £1–10

1-Star Review – Disturbing, Aggressive, and Unsafe Experience Today 24/12/25 I collected my parcel between 8:00–8:15 PM from Exeter Grill. I ordered a large chicken doner kebab with chips. I asked for peri peri sauce, garlic mayo, and hot chilli sauce, and the staff promised they would add all the sauces. When I got home and opened the food, it was a complete shock. Peri peri sauce and hot chilli sauce were missing Even worse, they had added lamb doner meat to my order I am allergic to lamb, so this was not a small mistake — it was a serious health risk. I immediately went back to the shop to inform them. One white staff member was polite and professional and initially tried to resolve the issue. However, another staff member behaved in a shocking and unacceptable way. Although he pretended to apologise, he was clearly rude and dismissive. The situation quickly escalated. He began using abusive language, repeatedly telling me to leave and saying he didn’t care, even though this was their mistake and involved a food allergy. They tried to justify the error by saying they were “busy”, but this was not true — there were not even three customers in the shop, and the staff themselves appeared confused and disorganised. Another staff member named Mustafa tried to intervene, but the aggressive staff member shouted at him as well, saying don’t explain to him, get him out of the store. He then came out from behind the counter, threatened me, and attempted to initiate a face-off. As an international customer, I felt intimidated, unsafe, and helpless. I could not retaliate due to legal consequences, and the entire experience was humiliating and frightening. This level of behaviour is dangerous, unprofessional, and unacceptable, especially in a food business where allergies can be life-threatening. I strongly appeal to Heavitree residents to think twice before coming here and ordering food from this place. What happened to me was not just poor service, but dangerous and intimidating behaviour. A food outlet that ignores allergies and allows staff to verbally abuse and threaten customers is not safe for the community. This experience has left me shaken and distressed, and I sincerely hope no one else has to go through something like this. Disclaimer I even puked immediately after eating within few minutes of consuming it and suffered from diarrhea that night. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Dietary restrictions: Served allergic lamb even after clearly mentioning not to add it
