This bar has perfectly cooked pork ribs, chicken tenders and fried chicken listed on the menu. Most guests recommend trying good peach cobbler, peanut butter pie and ice cream. You may come across notes that bourbon is delicious here. The whole impression won't be complete without bread drink that is great here.

Terrible experience the Lenoir location has shut down permanently. I'm glad. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

My experience was NOT good at all. Ordered the meatball appetizer and it came out hard and dry, even with the sauce on it (sauce tasted fine). I couldn't even get my fork though the meatballs, and the second round that came out after I asked to have them replaced was still hard (not quite as bad as the previous ones, but definitely not good). Then I ordered a 6oz. Sirloin cooked medium with grits. Well, the first thing that I noticed was that THERE WAS A HAIR in my grits. So, of course, I sent that back. Then, I notice that my steak is seriously overcooked. I wasn't medium, and it wasn't even well done. It was crispy and tasted like the underside of a grill. I had to dip it in ketchup just to eat it. The manager comped some of my bill, so the price wasn't really bad (except that I didn't really get to eat my dinner). The waitress (whom I believe was the front-end manager) was VERY NICE and I cannot fault her for her customer service or trying to make things right. It seems that they are having a seriously hard time finding people to fill positions at this location. Even with the fact that they are low staffed, and that the food would probably be better if they were fully staffed I will never return to this location and most likely will never go to another Fatz Cafe again. If I could I would give this restaurant a zero star but that is not an option.
