The staff is excellent. They are welcoming and attentive. However the food taste was mediocre. Meat try, fish overcooked and not fresh. Cocktails watered down. Though the staff is is excellent. Did I not say that before?

We visited for the dinner buffet, also celebrating my partner’s birthday, and the whole experience was pleasant from the reservation call to the end of the meal. Migara deserves a special mention — he was incredibly helpful and even arranged a small complimentary cake for the birthday celebration. The food was tasty, and while the variety might be a bit less than other 5-star hotels, all the main dishes you’d expect were there and well prepared. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy. It wasn’t too crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 6,000–7,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An exceptional breakfast experience at FLOW Restaurant, Hilton Colombo Residences. The buffet offers an impressive selection, but what truly elevates each visit is the impeccable level of service and attention to detail. A special note of appreciation to Chef Manoj, whose perfectly crafted hoppers and dosas are simply outstanding — a true reflection of culinary excellence. Equally commendable is Mr. Raj, whose gracious hospitality, warm demeanor, and attentive care consistently make each visit feel both personal and memorable. As a returning guest every few months, it is this refined blend of quality, consistency, and genuine service that continues to draw me back. A truly commendable dining experience.
