Beautiful location inside of a hotel. Food is pretty good. The braised pork and the pizza were both very good. The pizza is very thin on a cracker crust. We had the pizzaiolo tasting menu at lunch. Service was high end and professional. We had several people taking care of us which is ok, but our primary sever forgot our second drink and by the time we saw her again several courses later we were on the dessert course already. Of all of the omakase menus we have had this one had the smallest courses. Most courses were just a couple of small bites at most. The prosciutto course was very simple and didn't have any fully slices of prosciutto. The partial slices were not super thin and airy either like you would expect. More like they had been sliced on a slicer for deli meat instead of a prosciutto slicer. The salad course was pretty good but the bread was just ok. Very spongey and soft for a focaccia. No big air bubbles or olive oil crisp. The $30 carbonara pasta had overcooked yolks so it was a bit grainy. The pancetta was an ok substitute for guanciale. These are nitpicky things for sure, but at the prices they charge the food could have been a bit better, and certain courses could have been more evolved. Service was functional but not warm. Worst pizza ever, hands down the worst pizza in japan, but calling it a pizza must be a blasfemy. How on earth Michelin is recommending it god only knows. Please remove the word pizza romana from the menu, Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Forni is the best Italian restaurant! Everything is delicious. We loved the tartare of sea bream and the amazing pizza tartufo. I would definitely stay at this hotel again so that I could eat every meal at Forni. Kudos to the chefs. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
