had my birthday dinner at Ferry + Main this weekend... staff was accommodating, patient and friendly (from front desk to server to manager), didn't feel rushed. was seated in a big round booth overlooking the kitchen (which we liked). restaurant is loud and has a great vibe (if you are looking for quiet and intimate probably not the spot for you unless you sit outside), we liked it as we had kids/baby and didnt have to worry about their noise plus its nice to see the human interaction. enjoyed all the main food selections (Brussel sprouts were delicious and we got 2 for apps, plus arugula salad and beets). nice size shareable dishes for apps. Main dishes are on smaller size but creative and enjoyable. building is absolutely beautiful, love the renovations and ambiance. want some quiet after dinner, grab a cocktail and sit on one of the nice leather couches by lobby checkin or go downstairs to fun decorated basement with pool table (you'll likely be the only ones down there). What could be improved: desserts were lackluster (got the ricotta cheesecake and pineapple upside down cake) - they served the purpose of having a treat at end of dinner but didn't wow any of us. would also love to see a few more creative craft cocktails/fun martinis options. we were hanging out after dinner by check In lobby with big comfy couches and the girl at the desk saw we had 3 kids and came over and brought coloring books and crayons for each... was so kind and so thoughtful.

There are no vegetarian or vegan options except Celeriac (google it). They will not deviate from the menu. I couldn’t even get a dish of pasta. I settled for a small side dish of broccoli. I was surprised that in a cool town with many health conscience people that their menu was so limited for Vegans and Vegetarians. It was extremely noisy and the tables were close together. I couldn’t hear myself talk. How disappointing.
