My scaredy-hairs stood up when I noticed meals being brought out on disposable plates with plastic utensils, but someone said the food was good so Wasn’t what I was expecting in terms of ambiance but my goodness (clutching pearls) it was so worth it not to have judged that book by the cover. The apps and soup were titillating. The egg rolls were stuffed with pork and fresh vegetables; the egg drop soup, silky smooth. Then the entrees arrived quickly. The Mongolian Beef was tender and flavorful; and the shrimp fried rice was fluffy and filled with medium sized shrimp. All in all a very good meal. I even reflected afterwards that the disposable dinnerware likely speaks to the sanitary standards of the restaurant and may have been a COVID protocol holdover. One of the best little hole-in-the-wall joints I’ve had the pleasure to patronize between Grant Ave in San Francisco and Division Street in NYC. ( Shout out to Hong Kong Clay Pot and Wo Hop!) Anyway, I’ll be back or maybe Door Dash on my behalf. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Avoid the egg drop soup. It was watery with an oily film on top. Lacking egg. Moo good gai pan was fine. A little thin. Lots of mushrooms and very fresh. Egg roll filling more like wonton filling. I was expecting shredded cabbage. Overall disappointing meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2

The owner was very polite and food was on time (ordered pick-up). The Mongolian Chicken was good, but everything else had a strange (motor oil) aftertaste. The egg drop soup and moo goo gai pan were watery. Overall a disappointing meal. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
